Kiltmakers

If you buy kilts from us. They are all handmade, unless you choose partly machine made.

Annette is certified Kiltmaker CVQ Level 3, Sybren is training to become too.

We have a huge selection of tartans to choose from. Family tartans but also tartans that are not related to family or regiment or otherwise, like the ones in the Hebridean Range from House of Edgar.

We do our own measuring and take your wishes into account.

Turn-over time for handmade kilts approx. 6-8 months

Turn-over time for partly machine made kilts (Made in Scotland) approx. 4-6 weeks, provinding the tartan cloth is available.

 



Tartan design service

If you want to design or develop your own tartan. We can help you with that. We can advise and assist in getting your tartan registered at the Scottish Tartan Register. This makes you the owner of that tartan (like a patent) and you will be the only one who decides what happens with it (will it be woven and who may wear it)

Casual Kilts

5 yd Casual kilts.

Machine made. Available in all non-restricted tartans, tweeds and uni-colors.

Pocket on leftside of apron of the kilt is an option.

Mostly medium weight tartans are suitable for this tipe of kilt, due to its purpose like hiking, hill walking or skate-boarding.

Pipe Band Kilt

Especially for Pipe Bands.

This is a full length kilt, with proper, razorsharp pleats.

Available in almost any tartan. In Medium and Heavy Weight.

Made in Scotland. Made to the highest and MOD standards.

Tartan is being set up thread by thread. And this is mainly done by hand.
